On February 15, a youth quest "A Day with DOSAAF" was held at Ural State University of Economics. Twelve teams had to overcome eight difficult stages of the competition. The students passed through a minefield with their eyes closed, rescued a drowning man, learned to assemble and disassemble small arms, and trained some skills in military medicine.

At USUE, the wait for spring was brightened up by games and merry festivities. The Pancake Week began with an exciting event - the finalists of the Miss USUE -2018 contest presented themselves to the students. It attracted dozens of students. The Prankish hosts called guests from all over the University. There were Maslenitsa treats, life-size puppets and performances of the USUE Recreation Center - Vocal studio and dance team "STAXX", which put all guests of the holiday in a good mood!

In August 2017, Ural State University of Economics received a grant from the British Consulate in Yekaterinburg to hold two cycles of seminars for students and faculty, with the invitation of one of the leading experts in business entrepreneurship, Professor Dina Williams.

February 9, the training for USUE teaching staff under the "First-aid Dressing" program, organized by the Institute of State and Municipal Management and held in accordance with the decree of USUE Rector has been completed.

In Chelyabinsk, a youth contest for the best strategic economic project in the framework of the common economic space of Central Asia has been launched.
