Consul General of France in Yekaterinburg Mr. Pierre-Alain Coffinier became a guest of the traditional event “Hour of Diplomat” at USUE. He told students about the history of relationship between France and Russia, political relations between the states, and cooperation between France and the Urals region.

February 5-6, 2019, the Ural Scientific Readings of professors and postdoctoral students “New Industrialization of Russia: Economics - Science - Man - Nature Management” will be held at USUE.

Director of the Food Production Facility Svetlana Kuznetsova told that in 2018, the sphere of catering at USUE has undergone many changes. The pastry shop was repaired, the washing place was redecorated and the radiators there were replaced. A new warehouse was equipped.

The award ceremony of the Governor's prizes traditionally took place on the Russian Students Day.

The meeting at Ural State Economic University gathered residents of besieged Leningrad, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, representatives of public associations of the Sverdlovsk regions, residents of Yekaterinburg, schoolchildren, and students.
