USUE Rector Yakov Silin within the delegation of Sverdlovsk Oblast took part in the Forum of Partner Regions of the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.

In the Sverdlovsk region, the first step was taken to establish an infrastructure to increase the financial literacy of the inhabitants of the Middle Urals. A corresponding agreement was signed between the government of Sverdlovsk Oblast and Ural State University of Economics. Within the framework of the agreement, a regional center for financial literacy is being established.

May 24, USUE students of group TeE-16 and senior lecturer of the Department of Merchandising and Goods Expertise Nikolai Belyaev visited the museum and workshop premises of one of the largest pipe manufacturers in Russia - Seversky Pipe Plant (STZ).

This year, the beauty contest "Miss USUE" is 18 years old. We continue the rubric in which we tell about the fate of the girls who competed for the title of a beauty queen. Yana Smolyakova (Shipul ) won the contest "Miss USUE" in 2014. This year, she finishes master's degree courses and already works in her degree field. In the interview, Yana talked about how she managed to reach everything in time.

May 23, the Department of Public Law jointly with the Department of Business Law held the 1st interuniversity Olympiad in Criminalistics "Trace" for students majoring in Jurisprudence. The participants were students of Yekaterinburg universities (USUE, USPU, RANEPA Ural Institute of Management, Ural Juridical Institute of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia,). Overall, five teams took part and they were mixed, which made it possible to rally the participants.
