The Tenth Eurasian Economic Youth Forum (Forum) was held at the Ural State Economic University (Yekaterinburg) on April 16-18, 2019. The subject of the Forum was chosen as "Russia - Asia - Africa - Latin America: the economy of mutual trust." The key mission of the Forum was to strengthen trust between countries, expand cooperation in education, culture, science and technology, and remove barriers to communication between people.
The round table "The strategy for the development of chess at school and university" has been held in USUE. The event was organized by the USUE Department of Chess and Computer Mathematics.The round table moderator was Yuri Melnikov, Acting Head of the USUE Department of Chess and Computer Mathematics.
During the press-conference devoted to the USUE X Eurasian Economic Youth Forum a number of agreements was signed between USUE and international universities. Among new USUE partners are the Simon Bolivar State Technological Institute of Higher Education (Callao, Peru), Debre Tabor University (Ethiopia), Sanskriti University Mathura (India) and the State Agrarian University (Moldova).
February 27, graduates of the USUE Institute of Extramural Training celebrated the completion of the course. 322 graduates received long-awaited diplomas of higher education in 9 areas and 17 specializations. Now they are qualified economists, financiers, commodity experts, managers, bankers, technologists, restaurateurs, and marketers.

Consul General of France in Yekaterinburg Mr. Pierre-Alain Coffinier became a guest of the traditional event “Hour of Diplomat” at USUE. He told students about the history of relationship between France and Russia, political relations between the states, and cooperation between France and the Urals region.
The meeting at Ural State Economic University gathered residents of besieged Leningrad, veterans of the Great Patriotic War, representatives of public associations of the Sverdlovsk regions, residents of Yekaterinburg, schoolchildren, and students.
