Postgraduate Readings - 2017
Today, within the framework of the 2nd international conference "Ural – 21st Century: Region of Innovative Development", a section of young scientists "Postgraduate readings-2017" was held. The initiator of the section was the Department of Enterprise Economics of Ural State University of Economics
"Postgraduate Readings - 2017" gave young scientists a chance to discuss, carry out a comparative analysis and systematize the results of research held by Russian and German young scientists in the field of economic sciences. The reports included issues of strategic and spatial planning, development of peripheral territories, vocational education, economic security, and development and analysis of enterprises, public-private partnerships and innovative entrepreneurship.
The experts at the roundtable were the head of the Office of Graduate School, Doctoral Studies and Advanced Training of Academic Personnel Olga Feofilaktova, head of the USUE laboratory of scientometrics Victor Blaginin, Ph.D., and Associate Professor at the Department of Enterprise Economics Svetlana Orekhova. The moderators of the roundtable were Ekaterina Potaptseva, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor at the USUE Department of Enterprise Economics, Svetlana Smirnykh, associate professor at the USUE Department of Enterprise Economics, and Olga Ergunova, Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor at the USUE Department of Regional and Municipal Economics and Management.
The conference was also attended by a doctoral student of the Industrial Management Department of the Ruhr University (Bochum, Germany) Lisa Grandjean. Her report “Digital business models for industrial product - service systems in the context of industry 4.0” evoked heated discussion with the participants of the section.
