USUE women basketball players won three victories in January!
Over the weekend, the USUE team held the first tournament in 2022. The games were held in Yoshkar-Ola, where our team met with basketball players from Orel, Yoshkar-Ola, and Syktyvkar.
USUE women basketball players won all three games! In each game, it was not clear until the last minutes who would win. USUE athletes showed persistence and kept cool, having achieved the desired goal.
The tournament leaders in the USUE team were its captain Alisa Meshchakova and a forward Anastasia Vorobyova.
The next tournament will be held in Krasnodar, where the USUE team will meet with the players from Kuban State University and its key opponent - the team from the Volga Region State Academy of Physical Culture, Sports, and Tourism (Kazan).
In the next tournament, they will determine all the finalists, and the USUE team has a good chance of getting into the top eight of the league.
