Belarusian partners in touch

On the eve of the registration for participation in the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, coordinators from Ural State University of Economics and its partner university – the Belarusian State Economic University (BSEU) - met at a video conference.

USUE was represented by Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov, Head of the Office for Social Work Nikita Vasiliev, lead economist of the Department of Scientometrics, R&D, and Ratings Olga Korabelshchikova, head of the USUE Information and Advertising Office  Yevgenia Degtyareva, and a  lead specialist of the Office for Social Work Ekaterina Shchetinina.

On the part of BSEU, the conference was attended by Vice-Rector for Research Alexei Bykov, Head of the Student Research Bureau Olga Gaponenko, Head of the Business Incubator under the BSEU Faculty of Commerce and Tourism Industry Lydia Patsay, and Chairperson of the Council of Young Scientists Alesya Mozol .

The parties agreed that USUE would send partners a roadmap for joint preparation for the EEYF with the dates of competitions to be held on the international site at BSEU, and the Belarusian University, in turn, would provide information on universities and experts who would be involved in competitions on its site.

Besides, Roman Krasnov invited a delegation of the Belarusian State Economic University to visit the forum finals in Yekaterinburg to be held on April 26 – 29, 2022, and its rector, Alexei Yegorov, - to take part in the Council of Rectors of economic universities, which would promote the co-operation of higher education institutions to best fulfill their mission: training specialists who would build up the economies of their countries.      

 

The parties touched upon entering Russia under measures taken to limit the spread of coronavirus infection. Deputy Chairperson of the EEYF Organizational Council, Roman Krasnov, said that it would be necessary to provide a document confirming vaccination, as well as to take PCR tests on the eve of departure to Russia and upon arrival. If the epidemiological situation changes in the lead-up to the forum, the participants will make decisions accordingly.
