Students from Uzbekistan studying at USUE met with a specialist of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg, Abbos Khaknazarov, and an official of the Agency for External Labor Migration in the Ural Federal District, Sarvar Salomov. Students learned how to properly draw up passports, get medical care on time, and find a job.
They held the meeting in an open mic format. Each student could ask a question and receive a detailed answer. The students were interested in the procedure for obtaining material and medical help, the procedure for issuing passports, and options for internship.
Sarvar Salomov from the Agency for External Labor Migration in the Ural Federal District said that students of Uzbekistan could contact the Agency to settle issues related to the execution of various documents.
Specialist of the Consulate General of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Yekaterinburg, Abbos Khaknazarov, told the students about employment opportunities. He noted that full-time international students may combine study with work. The specialist drew the children’s attention to the importance of concluding an official employment contract.
“I came to study in Yekaterinburg from Tashkent and I know how difficult it is to get used to a new city. Therefore, I think it is especially important for first-year students to know their rights and understand whom they can address to receiver help and solve problems that have arisen. I advise students to attend such events more often,” Hasan Muhammad said.
It should be noted that now 1250 students from the republic are studying at Ural State University of Economics. Close cooperation has been established with the Tashkent State University of Economics. The teaching staff of TSUE actively takes part in the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, research-to-practice conferences held by USUE, joint publications of scientific articles, textbooks and monographs, advanced training programs implemented at our university.
