Schoolchildren from Yekaterinburg will study at USUE. Agreements thereon were signed today between USUE, the Youth Palace (Yekaterinburg), and the digital education center “IT-cube. Verkhnyaya Pyshma”, children’s tech park “Quantorium” (Verkhnyaya Pyshma) and schools in Yekaterinburg (school No. 50 and school No. 102).

USUE teachers will take practical classes for students in grades 8-11 throughout the school year.

USUE Rector Yakov Silin emphasized the importance of the agreement: “Dear colleagues and friends, we are doing a very good deed today. We train our youth, give them a completely different level of training. University, school, and Youth Palace - a triumvirate that will help a student decide where to go to study next. Joining our efforts will give a completely different result.”

Classes will be held not only in the laboratories of the USUE Department of Food Engineering and the Unified Laboratory Complex. Masterclasses will be held both at the Quantorium in Verkhnyaya Pyshma and at the Youth Palace.

“We would like to show children areas of professional development. Together we can build a school-university-employer ecosystem. If we show comfortable conditions are created in our region and we have teachers of the highest level, children will be happy to stay in the Urals region and work at our plants and factories,” Alexander Slizko, director of the Youth Palace, commented on the signed agreement.

As part of the agreement, 15 students have already been enrolled in the Nanoquantum educational program.
