EEYF expands its geography

Vladivostok State University (VVSU) is ready to become a partner and co-organizer of XIII EEYF to be held April 24-27, 2023. The parties discussed preparations for the forum.

Today, USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, Roman Krasnov, held talks with Andrei Shelomentsev, advisor to the VVSU Rector. The parties discussed cooperation within the EEYF.

VVSU is one of the top-rank economic universities in the country. It is located in the Far Eastern Federal District. Over 13 thousand students study at the university, including foreigners from 25 countries. They plan to invite students, master’s students and postgraduates from different universities of the region to the VVSU site of EEYF. They will take part in the contests proposed by the forum.

The winners will go to Yekaterinburg for the events that will be held as part of the XIII EEYF at USUE. The rest of the participants will attend online lectures in various areas: scientific activity, entrepreneurship, economics, education, culture, sports, tourism, and industrial complex.

The geography of the EEYF is expanding every year. In 2022, 6 universities became the venues for the forum: St. Petersburg State University of Economics, Tashkent State University, Azerbaijan State University of Economics, Belarusian State Economic University, L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. (Kazakhstan), M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University. and Tajik National University. Over 8,300 persons from 92 countries took part in the XII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum, over 750 experts evaluated the scientific studies and projects of youth. 56 diplomats from Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa attended the forum.



The organizers expect that the XIII Eurasian Economic Youth Forum in 2023 will be held on an even larger scale. The Youth Forum has been held at USUE since 2009 with the support of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs (Rosmolodezh), the Administration of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, the Government of the Sverdlovsk region, as well as with the partnership participation of large public associations and business representatives. The Free Economic Society of Russia also provides support to the forum.
