Environmental Safety in Technosphere space

The scientific and practical conference devoted to this topic was held at USUE on April 27, 2018. Its organizers were the USUE  Department of Physics and Chemistry  and the RSVPU Department of Mathematical and Natural Science Disciplines. The conference topic attracted considerable interest: more than 50 young scientists from different regions and cities of our country (Tomsk, Tyumen, Samara, Voronezh, and others) submitted their applications and materials, as well as from the countries of the near abroad: Belarus and Kazakhstan (11 participants). Therefore, declared as All-Russia, the conference became international.

The conference was held in two formats: absentia and attendee participation. In attendee one, two sections worked: "Problems of human ecological safety" and "Environmental monitoring". The research studies  presented in sections were very wide: "Certification of goods in terms of environmental safety indicators (G. Vorobets, USUE , Yekaterinburg)," Food Quality in Yekaterinburg" (V. Lazarev, RSVPU, Yekaterinburg ), "Utilization of polymer packaging materials" (N. Petrushina, TIU, Tyumen,), "Issues of urban waste" (A. Shilko , RSVPU, Yekaterinburg), "Antioxidants in food products as a factor of human health "(A. Tarasov, USUE , Yekaterinburg), and others.

Of particular interest were the experimental works: "Analysis of the quality of drinking water in Yekaterinburg" (K. Ershova, RSVPU, Yekaterinburg), "Sanitation and modeling of changes of technogenic  oil deposits" (A. Klimovskikh , SSTU, Samara), "Use of small rodents in environmental and genetic monitoring of environmental conditions" (V. Arkhipova, NTSSPI, Nizhny Tagil), "Fluorimetric methods for assessing food safety "(A. Nikolaeva, TPU, Tomsk), "Natural sorbents in diets of cows in the zone of technogenic pollution" (V.Lemeshevsky, A.Sakharov ISEI of BSU, Minsk, Republic of Belarus), "Monitoring of the reduction in species diversity of the fish fauna basin of the Khilok river in the territory of Buryatia" (D. Plyusnina , USUE , Yekaterinburg), "Remote monitoring of gas pipelines" (M. Blankina , SSTU, Samara).

Each report caused a lively discussion. The conference showed a sufficiently high potential of young researchers, but its main result is the expansion of communication between young people and the exchange of successful scientific experience.
