Финальный батл Международной олимпиады научных работ молодежи «Инновационная Евразия»

April 18, 2018, Ural State University of Economics hosted the  final defense of works submitted by  the participants of the Innovative Eurasia International Olympiad  in the field "Africa and Eurasia: Experience, Trends and Problems of Innovative Development of Countries and Companies".

This year, not only Russian and foreign students took part in the Olympiad, but also young researchers who study the features of innovative development of commercial and non-profit organizations, municipal authorities, and administration.The Expert Council, which assessed the public defenses of the finalists, was particularly representative and highly competent in the field of innovation and innovative development.The chairman of the Expert Council was the Deputy Head of the Division of Science and Innovation of the Ministry of Industry and Science of Sverdlovsk Oblast Stanislav Zhuravlev. In his closing speech, summing up the competition and announcing the winner, who took first place, Stanislav Ivanovich said, "Today we saw several mature business plans with calculations and good proposals. And it is especially important that you set quite bold problems not only of an innovative technological nature, but also of scientific, educational, socio-political, and social ones. "The major business of Sverdlovsk Oblast was represented by the deputy head of the production economy department of JSC EVRAZ NTMK (Nizhny Tagil) Yevgeny Khlybov and Deputy Director for Personnel Management at Ural Design Bureau of Transport Engineering (Nizhny Tagil) Nikolay Cherepanov.A small science-intensive business was represented by Andrei Kazakov, General Director of Prioritet  research and production group, Honored Inventor of the Russian Federation, Ph.D. in Medcine, a microbiologist and biotechnologist.The growth pole of Russia, located in Sverdlovsk Oblast, was represented by Stanislav Dorofeev, Director for Economics and Finance of Titanium Valley. The significance of Titanium Valley for Russia's innovative development is very high. It is it which must present to our society and the whole world the material of the future, which will form the basis for the development of aviation and shipbuilding: an alloy of aluminum and titanium - strong, light, and cheap.Foreign experts were Ruta Adamoniene, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Humanities at the University of Mykolas Romeris, the Republic of Lithuania, and Gierde Adamonite, aspecialist at Nets A/S international company, Copenhagen (Denmark).During the final defense, issues of innovative development of territories (Republics of Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, the Russian Federation, Sverdlovsk Oblast, and the city of Yekaterinburg), as well as the problems of venture capital development, were raised. The main block of speeches was connected to the introduction of innovations in banking and consumables retail trade, in the production and logistics chain "Supply-Production-Sales" of manufacturing the flange at Verkhneturinsky Machine Building Plant, in metallurgical production of EVRAZ NTMK, in economic activity of Business of Beauty Association, in furniture production and school education, and in the sphere of solid municipal waste management in Russia.

The winner of the International Olympiad "Innovative Eurasia", who took first place, was a USUE master student, a member   of the Committee for Ecology and Nature Management at  the Yekaterinburg  City Administration Polina Koneva with her work  "Introduction of Innovations in the Sphere of Municipal Solid Waste Management in Russia".

The second place in the contest was awarded to an employee of Consumables Ltd. from Nizhniy Tagil Kseniya Benina with the project "Introduction of Innovations in the Retail Trade of Consumables at OOO Raskhodnye Materialy". The third place went to the student of the Tajik National University Manizha Zairova with the work "Innovative Development of the Education System in the Republic of Tajikistan". Manizha defended her work online, very competently and emotionally, which was especially noted by the experts.The fourth place was awarded to the employee of INTERLOCK-NTMK Dmitry Shilov for his work "Implementation of Innovations in the Metallurgical Production at EVRAZ NTMK”. And the fifth place went to a student of Ural State University of Economics AlyonaUlyushina with her work "Introduction of Innovations in the Economic Activity of the Business Beauty Association".
