The students shared their impressions and talked about what they liked and best remembered.

"You were honored to go to France to participate in the excavation. Out of 18 state universities, only three have received this right. Today we gathered you to find out where else you would like to go. We are going to organize such trips in the future," Roman Krasnov said.

USUE activists Anna Fomina, Alexander Popov, Ekaterina Nuzhina, Alexey Nosov, Igor Pestov, and Deputy Director of the Institute of Economics Natalya Frolova went to the Crimea. Such a journey became possible thanks to the win in the youth quest Day with DOSAAF". The trip was designed for five days, the travel itinerary for the USUE student delegation was made up on the recommendations of the USUE Rector Yakov Silin, who directed the students before their leaving.

In addition, a group of USUE students tripped to Moscow. The trip was a reward for their win in April in the quest "Cosmonautics Day", organized jointly by USUE and youth club of the Russian Geographical Society "Ural Sledopyt".

The students told what they liked most of all on their trips. The head of the core group of the USUE  Institute of Management and Information Technologies  Alexey Nosov suggested organizing further trips, based on the concept of the event, "If we hold a patriotic competition, it is logical as a prize to send students to see historically significant places".

We would like to remind tht the student search group "Honor and Memory" participated in the “Memory Vigil" in the Kursk region. Our students, together with searchers from Kursk, Astrakhan, Karachay-Cherkessia and other regions were looking for mass-casualty burial on the battlefields of 1941-1943.During the period of "Memory Vigil", the group lifted the remains of thirty Soviet soldiers, whose reburial took place on 21 August in Kursk, in the park "Nightingale Grove".

After the search works in Kursk, two searchers went to France. There they took part in the first International search expedition in the footsteps of the First World War. Near the town of Courcy, members of the USUE search group Victoria Spiridonova and Taras Marchenko spent ten days on the battlefield of the Russian Expeditionary Corps, where, according to historians, about six thousand Russian soldiers fell.
