A story of successful business
March 16, the Department of Financial Management organized an excursion for USUE students of FK-15-1 group to the Sverdlovsk Regional Entrepreneurship Support Fund
This fund is currently the largest regional institution for the development of small and medium-sized businesses, established in 2002 by the Government of the Sverdlovsk Region for financial support of SME. During the excursion, the students became acquainted with the activities of the Fund, with the types of financial support available for small and medium-sized enterprises in our region, as well as with training programs for start-up entrepreneurs.
As part of the organized excursion, the students met with a self-employed entrepreneur with 11 years of experience in running his own business, Konstantin Zaripov, a professional photographer for private and legal entities, an organizer of the training courses for photographers, the creator of purchasable media content for social networks and various organizations.
The story of Konstantin Zaripov about how and why he decided to become an entrepreneur, about the main mistakes of business at the beginning of his activity aroused keen interest among the students. They actively jumped into the conversation and asked questions. In particular, they were captured by the topic concerning a popular business in Instagram and in general on the peculiarities of promotion of goods / works / services in social networks.
The USUE Department of Financial Management within the framework of the disciplines taught conducts active work with students on their practical involvement in the life of operating enterprises, which will enable future financiers to understand the value and applied relevance of knowledge acquired within the walls of the University. The organizer of the excursion was Ekaterina Sheina, the associate professor at the Department of Financial Management.
