Results of the Economist’s Week - 2017
USUE has a good tradition to hold a number of events dedicated to the professional holiday - the Economist’s Day. This year the Institute of Economics organized more than 20 events of a new format timed to the International Economist’s Day: a forum, roundtables, public lectures, meet-the-artist events, and mind and business games. The week was bright, eventful, and memorable.
There was held the first international scientific and practical forum "Housing and Communal Services and Quality of Life in the 21st Century: Economic Models, New Technologies and Management Practices".
Active participants of the Week were students of the USUE College. Together with the students of the University, they highly appreciated the speeches of respected scientists, leading experts in their field: Yevgeny Popov, Corresponding Member of RAS, scientific secretary of the UB RAS, and Professor Vladimir Bersenyov, the Department of Regional Competitiveness at the Institute of Economics, UB RAS.
The main assistants to the Economist’s Week were the activists from the Institute of Economics. They acted as volunteers, hosts, moderators, organizers, and participants of all events. We would like to acknowledge Lina Chetverkina, Arina Jakimovskaya, Danil Ershov, Anastasia Shisterova, Aleksandra Odintsova, and Kirill Gavrilov.
The Economist’s Week ended with a solemn awarding of the winners who took part in the events throughout the week.
