What is the role of economics in aerospace engineering?
The rector of Ural State University of Economics, Yakov Silin, signed an agreement with the rector of Ufa State Aviation Technical University, Sergei Novikov, on cooperation between the two universities in the field of research and education.
Yakov Silin told his colleagues about the history of the leading economic university of the Urals, its achievements, areas of training, international cooperation, and major events. After that, the parties exchanged views on key areas of cooperation.
“USUE is one of the strongest economic universities in Russia, which is located in the capital of the most industrially developed, neighboring region - the Urals. Our university is engaged in aviation, but we are also developing economic areas of training, which means we have a lot to learn from you. There are never too many good economists!" Sergei Novikov said.
“Our colleagues from Ufa State Aviation Technical University work in the most advanced industries: aeronautic equipment and engine building. It is interesting for us to learn from their experience and share ours. In large economy, there is always a reasonable combination of economic, financial, managerial, and technical specialties,” Yakov Silin added.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop a roadmap for interaction between universities in the 2021-2022 academic year.
