USUE students have learned about contract service
The head of the selection point Stanislav Pivovarov told the students about the possibility of admission to the contract service instead of conscription service . Students learned about the places and conditions of service, earnings, benefits, and military mortgage.
Stanislav Pivovarov explained that anyone who wants to serve in the army can come to the point and, having passed the selection, sign a contract.
In the conversation, it was noted that contract service becomes popular. Not only boys but also girls are willing to serve in the army.
Stanislav Pivovarov noted that such meetings with young people are held regularly in all educational institutions. "We are interested in ready specialists in connection with the emergence of new weapons and equipment and the renovation of military bases park. We need people who can competently operate and maintain modern equipment. We constantly hold meetings with young people and talk about the possibility of contract service. Not all of them know that they have the right to choose the contract service or conscription service, so we work purposefully with them," the head of the selection point comments.
It should be noted that Ural State University of Economics regularly conducts events aimed at patriotic education.. At the beginning of the academic year, students visited with excursions a missile regiment and district training center No. 273. It is planned to visit military camp No. 302.
Sergei Voronin, an advisor to the USUE Rector, says, "We try to conduct a diversified work to involve all categories of students. Last year, the officers of the military registration and enlistment office talked with students, explaining how to get to the conscription service. Such work brings good results: last year, about ten people left to contract service."
In addition, annually, military and sport relay races timed to the day of DOSAAF, quests dedicated to the Day of Cosmonautics are organized at USUE, monthly meetings with heroes are held within the program "Heroes Among Us". In early May, students are expected to talk to a guest from Moscow - the Hero of Russia Alexander Leonidovich Cherepanov.
