The congress of innovators is traditionally rich with dicersified experts and fascinating lectures. this year forum guests networked at open-space platforms , where they discussed the latest trends : cyberattacks and cyber security and the upcoming trade wars.
An open lecture was devoted to understanding of the problem of cybersecurity. Alexey Grishin, expert and founder of the VSFI movement, head of information security department at Aladdin R. D, told about basic approaches when working with unprotected data transmission channels and sorted out what cybersecurity threats can be faced when using an unprotected Wi-Fi network. Guest also learnt about "fishing" and discussed how not to become a victim of such attacks. 9 cases were presented during the lecture, which showed how to deal with the following situations: “users did not buy licensed software and decided to hack it”, “receiving an SMS so that you won a prize or other award, with an offer to follow the link or to call a phone number“.
At the second stage of the lecture, the audience was offered to play the game “The Evolution of Trust”. As a result of the event, participants had to figure out why people began to trust each other less, and how this can be changed. And all of these activities were presented in the game form.
“In the beginning of the lecture, I wanted to raise a healthy level of scepticism inside you about how you act in this or that situation, and you still could manage it. I hope that now you have become a little cyber-literate in this regard. First of all, think with your head and then do it, ”concluded expert Alexei Grishin.
