CHINESE STUDENTS DO NOT PART FROM YEKATERINBURG

We congratulate the students of Shihezi University of China on the successful completion of study at the USUE preparatory faculty for foreign citizens! For 10 months, they studied the Russian language and economic disciplines under a modular program.
USUE has been cooperating with Shihezi University since 2016. This is the largest university in PRC, where more than 30 thousand students study at 20 institutes in various fields. This year, eight Chinese students have graduated from the USUE faculty of pre-university training for foreign citizens. The certificates of graduation were presented to them by the USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov.

“I would like you to convey my words of gratitude to the rector and vice-rector of your university. I thank them for their joint work and for seeing us as strong partners having big potential. It’s great that we have taught you for a whole year, and you kept in touch with your home university,” Roman Valerievich addressed the students.

“At the beginning of the year, the Russian language proficiency of Chinese students was at A2 level and during the studies, it grew to B1. Only one student got “good” in Russian and all the rest are excellent students. As for now, these young people have become the fourth-year students of Shihezi University, and, afterward, many of them are going to enter master’s and postgraduate courses. These students are modest and very diligent," said Yegana Salimzade, a teacher of the RSL (Russian as a Second Language) of the USUE faculty of pre-university training for foreign citizens.
The Chinese students had enough time to become acquainted with the traditions and culture of Russia: they visited exhibitions and museums, studied Russian literature, and fell in love with local cuisine.
