Laureates of Sverdlovsk Region Governor Prize work for USUE
On 21 January 2022, Aleksey Shmykov, First Deputy Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region, presented awards to the best university professors, associate professors, and lecturers of the region. The award ceremony was traditionally timed to Russian Students Day.
The awards are given for a great contribution to strengthening the prestige of Higher Ural School and training valuable specialists for the regional economy. Awards are also a measure of material support for teachers of higher education.
The prizes of the Sverdlovsk Region Governor are awarded in the following nominations: Professor of the Year, Associate Professor of the Year, and Lecturer of the Year. In addition, there is an award For Special merits in the Development of Higher Education in the Sverdlovsk Region.
This year, 13 laureates were chosen from such large Ural educational institutions as USUE, UrFU, Humanitarian and Medical Universities, and others.
The winners in the Professor of the Year - 2021 nomination are:
- in the area "Technical Sciences" – Professor Sergei Tikhonov, Doctor of Technical Sciences, head of the USUE Department of Food Engineering;
- in the area "Humanities" - Professor Elena Dvoryadkina, Doctor of Economics, Director of the USUE Institute of Economics and Finance.
USUE staff congratulates Elena Borisovna and Sergei Leonidovich on their victory and wishes them further success and prosperity.
