University of Economics develops ties with Vietnam

August 3, Roman Krasnov, USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work, and Margarita Medvedeva, head of USUE International Cooperation Office, visited a number of key diplomatic missions of Asia. The purpose of the trip was the development of long-term cooperation in the field of education.

At the Embassy of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, there was a meeting with the First Secretary, Head of the Department of Education, Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Ti and the second secretary Nguyen Thi Kim Thu. Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Ti noted the continuing positive development of bilateral relations between Russia and Vietnam in the field of education, "Every year about three thousand students-holders of our government scholarships leave for Russia to study and their number is constantly growing. Russian education is very much appreciated in Vietnam; the most in-demand specialties are economics, medicine and art"

The participants agreed to promote the educational services of USUE in Vietnam.
