International Youth Conference on Knowledge Management

From 18 to 20 April, in Moscow, with the support of the Higher School of Economics, Plekhanov Economic University, and Deloitte, the first international youth conference on knowledge management was held.

The purpose of the conference was   establishing contacts between young researchers and   experienced scientists and practitioners in   knowledge management, the formation of an interdisciplinary professional community and   a platform for discussing hot issues in the development of the knowledge-driven economy in Russia and abroad.

The conference worked for three days: April 18 at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics, April 19 - at the Higher School of Economics, and April 20 - at the office of Deloitte. Every day three sections were working: "People", "Processes", and "Technologies".

The invited experts were specialists in theoretical and practical knowledge management:  Vladimir Lechshenko, head of the Knowledge Management Department at Rosatom State Corporation,  Maxim Afonasiev, a partner of the Moscow Knowledge Office, a co-founder of the professional community "IT for Corporate Innovations", Andrei Miroshnichenko, Chief Knowledge Officer in RicketDao project, the founder and partner of Minsk Knowledge Office, Maria Marinicheva , a methodologist, a business trainer and a knowledge management coach,  Vladimir Baronov, head of the OOO LUKOIL-Engineering  department,Grigory Pavlotsky,  head of the Deloitte Corporate Innovation Laboratory, CIS, and   Rodion Nagornov, Head of the Training and Certification Group of Kaspersky Lab JSC.

At the session of the "People" section, third-year students from the USUE Department of Enterprise Economics Polina Bolonina and Lada Kabanova delivered a report "Interinfluence of Individual Characteristics on Creative Thinking of a Person", Kristina Sychugova and Valeria Kiseleva - "The Influence of the Process of Sharing Knowledge and Ideas on Group Creativity (the case of educational organizations groups)". Both reports were made at a high level, and Kristina Sychugova and Valeria Kiseleva became winners of the section.

At the conference, students attended the lectures of knowledge management professionals, took part in panel discussions, presented their reports, and discussed conclusions at the roundtables.
