A moment as long as a song

March 18, USUE hosted the annual Univision song contest, organized by the student activists of the Institute of Management, Entrepreneurship and Engineering (headed by Adilet Sulaimanov). This year’s topic was “There is only a moment”.

 This year, a defining feature of the contest was that all the songs performed by the contestants were covers of old songs in a new modern way. To create a special atmosphere, the students designed a chic photo zone in the Mirror Hall of the USUE House of Culture.

About 400 spectators, among them students of USUE, UrFU, USPU, USLU, and EACA attended the contest.

“I liked the attitude towards the singing gigs, many rehearsals on the stage, professionalism regarding sound and light, decorations in the hall and in the Mirror Hall and on the way to them. The gifts are cool. I felt that they did their best and acted responsibly. 
Everyone who was involved in this concert turned out to be very pleasant and friendly. I enjoyed working in such an atmosphere!” shared her opinion about the contest its winner, Alexandra Ryazanova from USPU.

“In the hustle and bustle of everyday work, I managed to break out to a vocal party at my daughter’s university. I was sitting and admiring our youth! YES!!! They are open, cheerful, friendly, and free! Nothing superficial or pretentious. Everything is real! It was brightly, musically, openly, and truly! I felt your soul, guys, with all my skin! I appreciate your attention to details! Special thanks for the topic - “There is only a moment” - and selection of the festival’s repertoire! It is WORTHY!” Svetlana Kulichenko, a contest spectator, said.
