“THE WORLD NEEDS TRUST”

The work of the anniversary Forum is coming to an end: the last congress events will be held tomorrow. Guests, experts and participants will bring new unique experience and new ideas to their countries and cities. After the exciting defenses of student contest projects and performances, the participants attended the grand Ball of Friendship.

Neyworking in an informal atmosphere is important as it allows forum experts, special guests and participants to get to know each other more closely, communicate in a friendly manner and exchange their contacts.

The Forum congresses were a success while a major press conference was attended by the leading media services of the Sverdlovsk region and representatives of the international media. Ambassadors of diplomatic missions provided outrageous lectures for USUE international students from Asia and Africa. A number of important diplomatic meetings were held during the Forum. The chess competition "Grand Nutcracker" started tremendeously and and passed brilliantly. Tomorrow, Forum guests are going to take part in an open tournament on rope-pulling which is called the “Ural belt” competition.

The topic of trust has become the key line in public speeches of experts of the X Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Leading international lecturers delivered their open lectures during the Forum congresses.

USUE rector Yakov Silin addressed his welcoming speech to the guests of the Ball of Friendship: “A year ago, we thought what new ideas we can bring to the X Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. In recent years, our university with a 50-year history has shown the ability and desire to develop. The high level of the faculties and department, huge experience and the authority gained by our colleagues and their predecessors allowed us to propose a global topic of the Forum: "Russia-Asia-Africa-Latin America: the economy of mutual trust." Maybe this was the leitmotif of our X Forum. No matter what continent, country, university or research center you represent, we all need to come together to ensure efficient development. And all you need to reach this is trust. We need to respect each other, to unite our efforts to ensure the future of our children and grandchildren. I want to thank the whole team of our university and everyone who came to our Forum. There are so many participants that sometimnes we cannot accommodate everyone in our university. But we are glad that we make more and more friends”, the rector noted with particular pride.

In response, Joanna Rose Mamiaka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Gabonese Republic to the Russian Federation, spoke at the Friendship Ball. “I can’t find enough of strong words to express gratitude to our entire diplomatic corps for giving us the opportunity to come here and discover your beautiful university. This meeting allowed us not only to exchange important experiences and ideas, but also to remind each other and ourselves how important trust is for our development. We are returning back home full of new ideas that we will definitely deliver to the leaders of our capitals. These ideas concern the possibility of further cooperation between our universities and our countries”, the speaker said.

“I am sincerely grateful to the whole USUE team and the EEYF team for this opportunity to join the event and to such high organization level of the event. This is our first participation in the Forum, and everything was great! We exchanged professional opinions and this exchange was very fruitful. I hope that in the near future we will sign an agreement on cooperation between our universities", added Clement Kiki, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Benin.
