“My little dream came true...”

Antonina Kirsanova, a student of the USUE Institute of Master’s studies, became the champion of the national biathlon competitions among women! With a margin of 29 seconds, she overtook Yulia Drozdova from Moscow, the owner of silver in the Russian Championship in 2019.

All-Russian biathlon competition among women was held at the Demino Ski Center in the Yaroslavl Region. In 12km mass start with four bouts of shooting, a USUE master’s student, international master of sports Antonina Kirsanova, became the champion.

Antonina shared her emotions on her VK page: “My little dream came true ... it moved me to tears! I climbed to the first step of the podium for the first time in my biathlon career.”
