“We are from the future”

The traditional interactive job fair Profi Yolka will be held at USUE from January 13 to 20. These days, students could meet online and in person with employers’ representative, profile themselves, and consider proposed vacancies.

On the eve of the internship of senior students and the Russian Old New Year, one of the USUE largest and brightest career guidance events will take place again. Job fair Profi Yolka provides an opportunity to become acquainted with the largest employers in Yekaterinburg, to receive proposals for possible places of internship and employment.

“This is already the seventh Profi Yolka. Over the past few years, we have been successfully trying and combining different formats and approaches to the student audience. What remains unchanged is the desire to develop a meaningful dialogue between students and employers,” Aleksandr Nazarov, senior specialist of the USUE Career Center, said.

This year, employers are requesting chamber meetings with job seekers. On the one hand, each participant will get more attention, and this is a chance to show themselves and get a more detailed advice. On the other hand, competition is increasing, so one should prepare well, write a trial CV to get feedback or an invitation to an internship or work.

At 10 o’clock January 13, the fair will start its work in the lobby of the first floor near class room 152. From January 16 to January 20, employers will visit senior students during classes.

Every year, Profi Yolka gathers several hundred participants. Over 50 businesses with over 250 job openings support the event. Banks, large retailers, hotels, government agencies, IT companies, and many other organizations always welcome USUE senior students and graduates for internship and are glad to enroll them in their staff.
