More than 100 participants applied for Social Justice contest

The acceptance of applications and papers for Social Justice contest, the first international contest of student essays in English, organized by the Department of Foreign Languages has been finished. Over 100 entries were registered.

The organizers say that the subject of the Contest was so relevant that it attracted the attention of students from different parts of Russia and countries abroad. Students from universities in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Rostov-on-Don, Krasnodar, Saransk, Kirov, and Taganrog took an active part.

Among the participants, there are students of all years and areas of training of Ural State University of Economics, as well as students of Ural Federal University, the Ural State Pedagogical University, the Ural State Academy of Railway Transport, the Ural State Mining University, and the Ural State Law University.

It is worth noting the interest of foreign higher education institutions in the topic of the Contest. Among them, there are universities of the USA, Lithuania, and Belarus.

Due to a large number of competitive works, the organizers of the Contest decided to award prizes in three categories corresponding to the declared topics.

The results of the contest will be announced on March 19 at the website of the Department of Foreign Languages ??and on the USUE website.
