Scientific readings Scientific Labor Organization: History, Contemporaneity, and Prospects in memory of Professor MikhailМельнова Melnov
As part of the commemorative events USUE hosted scientific readings dedicated to the memory of Professor Mikhail Melnov, who had chaired the Department of Economics and Labor Organization at the Sverdlovsk Institute of National Economy and for 23 years had headed scientific school of improving the labor organization in industry at the Urals and had coordinated it in the country.
The organizers of the scientific readings were Ural State University of Economics (Department of Labor Economics and HR Management) and Association of HR Managers.
The All-Russian event "Scientific Labor Organization: History, Contemporaneity, and Prospects" brought together young people and veterans of the Department of Labor Economics and HR Management. This year, the department, as well as USUE, is 50 years old. The readings were attended by scientists from Moscow, Omsk, Chelyabinsk, Minsk and other cities, as well as distinguished guests and veterans of the department: Professor Aleksandra Makaridina, Professor Vera Koksharova Professor Lyudmila Vasiltsova, and Associate Professor Lyudmila Zotova.
Welcoming speeches were delivered by Professor Yevgeny Animitsa, chair of the USUE Department of Regional and Municipal Economics and Management, and Viktor Ivanitsky, Doctor of Economics, professor at the USUE Department of Financial Markets and Banking.
Honorary consultant of the Department of Labor Economics and HR Management Eduard Popov made a report on the history of the department through a prism of the development of scientific labor organization.
Leading experts in the field of personnel management, representatives of science and business took part in the scientific readings. The speakers were V. Polovinko, Doctor of Economics, professor, chair of the Department of Economics and Human Resource Management of Dostoevsky Omsk State University V. Belkin, Doctor of Economics, professor, director of the Chelyabinsk branch of the Institute of Economics, Ural Branch of Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, R.Nizhegorodtsev, head of the Department of the Trapeznikov Institute of Control Sciences of (Moscow), L. Vasiltsova, Doctor of Economics, professor at the USURT Department of HR Management and Sociology, D.Surov, Doctor of Economics, director of additional educational programs in the field of personnel management of Moscow Technological University (MIREA) R. Dolzhenko, Doctor of Economics, professor at the USUE Department of Labor Economics and HR Management, R. Partin, project manager of Sberbank (Moscow).
All those present at the event supported the necessity and urgency to strengthen research and development in the field of modern technologies of labor organization: «LEAN», «6 SIGMA», «DMAIC», Agile, SCRUM, Kanban, and Smart working.
