In the spirit of time and full of drive: USUE launched the Academy of Mentors

August 24, the academy "I Am a Mentor" got off the ground at USUE.  The next three days a hundred participants of the project will improve their team building skills and will pass several educational modules.

USUE Rector Yakov Silin told the audience about the importance of mentoring in university life and self-development, "I am happy that at USUE there are those who are able to lead others and to take responsibility. I believe that everything will turn out for those who do not expect miracles but achieve everything themselves. In the role of a mentor, you will help freshmen quickly take the lifestyle of a USUE student. You have many opportunities for this, including technical ones. Without your help, we cannot adapt freshmen in a spirit of the time and full of drive. The whole family of our University will benefit from your participation and your talent." Welcoming the participants, the Rector emphasized the importance of being an example for others not only within the walls of the university but also outside and told the stories of successful mentoring of some active students.

It is worth noting that this year the Academy "I Am a Mentor" for the first time is divided into two levels: the first level is held by mentors-beginners, and the second level is designed to expand knowledge on mentoring of those who had already tried themselves in this role.
