Honorary Professor of KEU

USUE rector Yakov Silin became an honorary professor of the M. Ryskulbekov Kyrgyz Economic University.

The award ceremony for the title was held at the "New Challenges of Economic Reality" conference, which is part of KEU's 70th anniversary celebration. Yakov Silin addressed the plenary session, emphasizing the significance of educational collaboration between Russian and Kyrgyz universities as part of a wider integration effort in the Eurasian space that involves our countries.

KEU and USUE are long-time partners. Universities are actively developing academic mobility programs. Students from Kyrgyzstan come to study in Russia on exchange programs and vice versa. In 2022, KEU became one of the foreign sites of the XII EEYF. And in 2023, KEU students became finalists in six competitions of the XIII EEYF, having showed the best results among over 200 participants.

Moreover, as part of the conference "New Challenges of Economic Reality," the USUE rector led a section on the Eurasian Network University and cooperation in vocational education within the Eurasian Economic Union.

Previously, Yakov Silin became an honorary professor at another university in the Kyrgyz Republic - Osh Technological University named after M.M. Adyshev.
