Ural State University of Economics sent the fourth batch of humanitarian aid in half a year to servicemen of the Sverdlovsk region taking part in a special military operation and residents of the Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics. This time, USUE students and staff collected over 200 kilograms of food and goods.

They deployed the real headquarters in the USUE Office for Social Work. During the month, students and university staff brought living essentials there. The boxes contain personal hygiene items, bar soap and warm socks, as well as tinned stew meat, canned food, tea, cookies, sugar, and much more. This time, as part of the “We Are Together” campaign, USUE collected over 200 kilograms of humanitarian aid.

“More and more USUE employees and students are joining the ‘We Are Together’ campaign. And this time we have collected even more necessary things that will be sent to military personnel mobilized from the Sverdlovsk region and to residents. In general, for the four times the action was held, we sent almost 1.5 tons of humanitarian supplies,” Nikita Kosarev, a participant in the collection of humanitarian aid, the head of the USUE student search team Honor and Memory, said.

Humanitarian aid will be sent along with essentials collected by residents of Beloyarsky, Kosulino, Pervouralsk, Yekaterinburg, Shabrovsky and other settlements of the Middle Urals. The collecting was organized by the deputies of the Yekaterinburg City Duma.
