Enterprises can improve quality and efficiency with USUE help

In Alapaevsk, at a large machine-building enterprise Stroydormash, the first visiting workshop on the quality management system (QMS) improvement was held. The theme of the seminar — «Increasing the efficiency of the QMS of an enterprise based on risk management» — was devoted to the implementation of the requirements of the new GOST R ISO 9001-2015 standards in relation to risk management.

The participants of the seminar were the heads of the enterprise and its divisions: production director, logistics director, chief designer, chief technologist, shop managers, heads of the quality control department, and others.

The main part of the seminar, which was conducted by Veronika Rudnitskaya, the associate professor of the USUE Department of Quality Management, was devoted to the development and practical application of the documented system of identification and risk management at an enterprise. According to the head of the corporate development department (project office and QMS) Anastasia Brylyakova, a recent USUE graduate, the knowledge and skills gained by the workshop participants will find a direct practical application at the enterprise.

This seminar was the first in a series of workshops for Stroydormash, which will help the company undergo the certification audit and meet the necessary requirements of GOST R ISO 9001-2015, and, in the long run, improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the quality management system and technological processes of the entire enterprise.
