Universities jointly deal with problems of international students
The next meeting of the Council of Vice-Rectors for International Activities of Universities was held at the Ural State Forest Engineering University (USFEU). USUE was presented by Vice-Rector for Social Work Roman Krasnov.
Vice-Rectors of 11 universities of Yekaterinburg gathered at the round table. Rector Evgeny Platonov spoke on behalf of the Forest Engineering University. Vice-Rector for Research and Innovations Valery Fomin and head of the USFEU Department of International Cooperation and External Relations Azamat Aidosov also represented the host party.
Officials of the Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations of the Sverdlovsk region, the Russian Foreign Ministry in Yekaterinburg, and the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs attended the meeting.
The Chair of the Council of Vice-Rectors for International Activities of Sverdlovsk region Universities, USUE Vice-Rector for Social Work, Roman Krasnov told his colleagues about the activities plans of the Council. Roman Valeryevich called representatives of universities for mutual support of significant events held by universities and the regional Ministry of International and Foreign Economic Relations: “Such support may be the participation in projects of both students and experts. On behalf of USUE, I invite you to the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum to be held from April 26 to 29, and Victory Waltz in May. We can also help each other in terms of information covering events through the information resources of our universities.”
