They are only five in the whole country!

A student of the Institute of Public Administration and Law, Elena Pashchuk, won the national open competition for a scholarship named after V.A. Tumanov! This government scholarship named after an outstanding Russian lawyer is awarded to only 5 students for achievements in research.

The Ministry of Education and Science annually selects candidates for the V.A. Tumanov scholarship among full-time students of Russian universities studying or majoring in Jurisprudence. USUE once again received recognition and confirmed its status as a university that trains top-ranked specialists in the field of law at the federal level.

For Elena Pashchuk this is not the first victory: last year the student received a scholarship from the Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region. She has been engaged in scientific activity since her first year in the university. To date, Elena's portfolio includes about 40 scholarly articles and wins in events at international, federal and regional levels.

“Awarding a scholarship is an important step for me, and I am very glad to become one of the five students of the Russian Federation who received this scholarship. This is an indicator of not only the work done, but also the work to be done. It’s not in my nature to be complacent: many more plans are waiting in the wings,” Elena Pashchuk said.

The student expressed her special gratitude to the teachers of the USUE Institute of Public Administration and Law, in particular to the deputy director of the Institute Natalya Gromova. Without their professionalism and support, Elena believes, she would not have been able to touch  such heights.

A USUE student was awarded a prestigious government scholarship for special achievements in jurisprudence.
