USUE Rector awarded the student brigade Hellas for labor achievements
January 9, the Rector of Ural State University of Economics Yakov Silin awarded the diploma to the student brigade of train hosts "Hellas". In 2017, the regional meeting of student brigades declared "Hellas" the best student brigade of train hosts in the Sverdlovsk region.
According to the commander of the brigade Christina Balakina, the students worked in summer without violations and received good feedback from passengers. "About 20 student brigades of train hosts of the Sverdlovsk region competed for the title of the best. The competition is quite tough because everybody wants to win first place, but we do not yield this position to anyone for the third year in a row," Christina added.
The jury assessed the work of the brigades during the preparatory period and the summer season. Besides, they took into account brigades’ participation in various creative and sports competitions.
The regional meeting of student brigades was held on December 19. According to the Department of Information Policy of the Governor of the Sverdlovsk region, in 2017 student brigades of train hosts serviced long-distance trains running to St. Petersburg, Pskov, Moscow, Adler, Vologda, and Syktyvkar.
