USUE Rector was made Honorary Professor of OshTU

Yakov Silin became an honorary professor at Osh Technological University named after academician M. Adyshev (Kyrgyz Republic).

While presenting the honorary professor robe to his Russian colleague, OshTU Rector Zhanbolot Tursunbaev emphasized the friendly relations between the educational institutions of the two countries since 2017. Teachers and students take part in academic mobility programs and the Eurasian Economic Youth Forum. Since 2021, OshTU annually hosts a presentation of USUE bachelor’s, master’s, and postgraduate programs. And in 2022, a full cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities.

In 2023, OshTU celebrates its 60th anniversary. Today, about 10 thousand students study at the university. The university trains specialists in automobile transport, electric power, construction, IT technologies, and ecology.
