USUE Rector congratulations

Dear colleagues and veterans, students and postgraduates, and all the USUE team!

I congratulate you on the New Year and Christmas!

On the last days of the expiring year, we are talking about achievements and summing up the rich life of the University. This year was a landmark for us. We celebrated the 50th anniversary.

We held a number of significant events: the establishment of the Ural branch of the Free Economic Society of Russia, VIII EEYF, National Olympiad in Russian for foreign students, scientific conferences, creative festivals, and sports competitions.

This year the University has trained more than 4,500 specialists for the real sector of our economy. We are proud that 85% of our graduates found jobs in their degree field in the first months after receiving the diploma and are the most highly paid specialists in the labor market of Yekaterinburg.

I would like to highlight the results of the international activity of USUE: for one and a half year, the number of foreign students has doubled. Today about 500 foreign students from 40 countries of the world study at the University.

In many ways, thanks to your commitment, enthusiasm and inexhaustible creative energy, the University flies high as one of the recognized leaders of Russian economic education. I am sure that 2018 will be creative and productive. We will keep good traditions and lay new ones. Let new 2018 year be happy for everyone and bring warmth and well-being to our friendly university family!
