USUE RECTOR YAKOV SILIN VISITED UNIVERSITIES OF CHINA
USUE rector Yakov Silin, on the delegation of the Sverdlovsk region, headed by First Deputy Governor Alexei Orlov, participated in the work of the 6th China-Russia Expo in Harbin.
The booth of the Ural Federal District presented the industrial, scientific and cultural potential of the region. More than 20 companies and organizations of the Sverdlovsk region (software developers, universities, healthcare centers, representatives of tourism and food industries of the Middle Urals) exhibited their products and developments.
As part of a business trip, Yakov Silin visited the Harbin Institute of Technology and Harbin University of Commerce.
During the business meeting, the colleagues discussed important issues: exchange of students, teachers, and researchers, the possibility of holding joint scientific conferences, and research cooperation.
