Welcome!

Today a delegation from the Tashkent State University of Economics (Uzbekistan) arrived at USUE. Eight TSUE students will take part in the workshop “Contours of Cooperation Development between Russia and Uzbekistan” and competitions of the XIV Eurasian Economic Youth Forum.

Ural State University of Economics became the venue for the workshop for the third time.

USUE rector Yakov Silin urged young people to get acquainted with Yekaterinburg and its history, and make good of time.

“Last year, Yekaterinburg celebrated its 300th anniversary. The capital of the Urals developed as an industrial city. There are many production facilities, universities, and research institutes here. Yekaterinburg is the third financial center in the country,” USUE rector Yakov Silin said.

Within twelve days, the delegation from Tashkent will visit industrial enterprises in Yekaterinburg, Verkhnyaya Pyshma, Kamensk-Uralsky, and Pervouralsk. The guests will get acquainted with the peculiarities of Russia’s economic development and discuss the prospects for cooperation between the two countries.

“I am attracted by the idea of cooperation with Russia. The workshop and EEYF can indeed become excellent platforms for new acquaintances and exchange of experience between students from several countries,” a TSUE student Sanzhar Abdusamatov told us.

Besides, the students will take part in EEYF competitions.

“I’m glad that I have an opportunity to participate in EEYF, within which I can get to know the university and Yekaterinburg,” Madinabonu Sadulloeva, a TSUE student and workshop participant, shared her impressions. She emphasized the importance of maintaining relations between universities for further cooperation. According to her, this enables students to present new ideas and find inspiration in them.

The workshop “Contours of Cooperation Development between Russia and Uzbekistan” is designed to strengthen international relations and foster the professional competencies of students. It will last from April 15 to 27. The event was organized by the USUE Institute of Continuing and Distance Education.
