Keeping the traditions alive, the University feels confident about the future

September 14, Ural State University of Economics hosted the first event dedicated to its 50th anniversary.  It is symbolic that the first greetings were received by University veterans because it was they who were directly involved in the establishing and developing of the financial school of the Urals.

Rector of the University Yakov Silin made a short report to the veterans. He spoke about the development of the University and its role in the life of the region, "What you have laid down and provided for dozens of years today is in demand.  Your work is not lost and is not forgotten.  Thanks to you, we are one of the strongest economic universities.  Using your experience, we started a more systematic work with the real sector of the economy: keeping the traditions alive, the University feels confident about the future. "

Veterans of the University are people who are honored and respected at USUE.  Many of them started to work within the walls of the University in the early years of its work and worked on the development of scientific, educational and extra-curricular activities. 

That day saw were many memories and thanks.  USUE veterans were the first to watch the film, dedicated to the anniversary of the University, and received gifts.
