Student conference Development of Franchising in Russia

October 23, the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics organized and held a student conference on "Development of Franchising in Russia." Students of KD-14 and Log-14 groups took part in the conference. Student reports were assessed by a jury composed of associate professors of the department S.R. Tsaregorodtseva and G.V. Savina headed by the department chair, Doctor of Economic Sciences V.N. Sharin. In their reports, the students analyzed the work of franchised businesses in Yekaterinburg and Russia in trade and catering, as well as presented the analysis of the dynamics of the franchising business development in Russia in recent years.

Based on the results of the conference, the jury summed up the results and identified the winners:

The first place diploma was awarded to students Daniil Ivanov and Julia Lagutskaya (Log -14 group).

The second place diploma was awarded to students Margarita Tsaregorodtseva and Elizaveta Venediktova (KD-14 group).

The third place diploma was awarded to students Marina Boykova and Maria Morozova (KD-14 group).

Such events contribute to the teambuilding, helping students to be liberated and more freely and openly express and defend their opinions.
