USUE students visited X5 Retail Company group Pyaterochka
The students of the USUE Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics (groups KD-15, L-15) studying the course Commercial Activity visited the largest warehouse terminal of the UrFD – a distribution center of X5 Retail group "Pyaterochka".
A training manager of the company Tatyana Kopaneva conducted a master class for students, during which she told about the X5 Retail group, its corporate policy, the main stages of staff training, and opportunities for career growth. At the end, a training video was shown.
Of great interest was an excursion over the warehouse terminal of 35,000 square meters organized by a technology manager of the Company Arnold Valinurov. The students became acquainted with the layout and arrangement of the warehouse complex, with the organization of the storage technological process, and the system for processing and distribution of goods. The students took interest in the technology and process of controlled ripening of bananas before shipment to retail sales.
In the end of the excursion, the students met with the director of the distribution center Rinat Yenaleev. He answered numerous questions from students, invited them to practice at the Center, and told about the opportunities for cooperation.
During the meeting, Rinat Yenaleev, director of the distribution center, Svetlana Shchetkina, regional HR manager, and Dmitry Karkh, professor at the USUE Department of Commerce, Logistics and Economics of Trade discussed the opportunity of concluding a long-term cooperation agreement between the Company and the University.
