USUE students visited the Museum of NPO Avtomatiki
February 14, students of KD-15 group, guided by Z.O. Fadeeva, associate professor of the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics, visited the Museum of Astronautics and Rocket and Space Equipment of NPO Avtomatiki.
As part of the excursion, the students were presented with numerous developments of the enterprise in various fields.
At the beginning of the excursion, all the visitors are shown four paintings depicting cosmodromes at different seasons. They can see amazing devices, machines, and equipment that were used in the rocket and space complex.
During the excursion, special attention was paid to the personality of the chief designer of the NPO Avtomatiki Nikolai Alexandrovich Semikhatov. The museum presents his portrait and his reconstructed office with some drawings, an old phone, and a typewriter. The students were impressed by the scaled-down model of the cosmodrome with a surprising accuracy of reproduced details.
The pinnacle of the excursion was the demonstration of a 3D mini-movie, immersing visitors into the atmosphere of launching a vehicle. The students who visited the excursion noted the well-organized exhibition and the competence of the guide. It should also be emphasized that the information received is interesting, informative and relevant to any person, regardless of the field of his/her activities.
