USUE students visited the Museum of NPO Avtomatiki
September 26, 2017, students of Ural State University of Economics visited the Museum of Cosmonautics and Rocket and Space Technique subordinated to one of the leading enterprises of the space industry of the Russian Federation "NPO Avtomatiki" (Scientific and Production Association of Automatics).
The museum complex consists of five sites and a large fund. During the excursion, the students learned that on October 4 this year there will be the 60th anniversary of the launch of the first artificial Earth satellite, about the role of the Urals in the development of new military and space technologies, and the activities of the enterprise. Among the exhibits, there was a trackball (a prototype of a computer mouse), models of Kourou cosmodrome, the first artificial earth satellite, and the biggest submarine. The students could attend the virtual launch of a launch vehicle and left thanks in the book of the museum guests.
