October 20, USUE students under the guidance of Olga Ergunova, Ph.D., associate professor at the Department of International Business, took a guided tour to a new ten-storied office of SKB Kontur.
In order to deepen knowledge in "Development of a marketing strategy of an export-oriented company" within the discipline " WTO and Foreign Trade Policy", undergraduate students (MM-14 group) were introduced to the main types of marketing communications, as well as took part in the discussion of trends, strategic directions and tools to work with target audiences in CIS markets. The students saw from within how internal communications and corporate culture of the organization are built and how it increases investment attractiveness. SKB Kontur is famous for its rich corporate culture, but nobody expected such an impression from the headquarters.
Here everything is done to make employees comfortable, to make them feel at home. In addition to many meeting rooms, classrooms and huge conference halls, they also have gyms, a bar, a coffee shop and a cafe, a music room, outdoor sports grounds, and even access to a pond.
"The management of SKB Kontur values its employees; openness and democracy are important here. In the new office, we tried to create a friendly atmosphere to make employees work with pleasure and more efficiently," Olga Kostareva, head of the PR group at SKB Kontur, says.
During the tour, undergraduates' cries of admiration were heard, "It's not the office but the dream!", "I would like to live here!", "And how can I get a job in our company?" Everyone deserves such sensitivity to the staff.
