USUE students took a guided tour around the hypermarket Carousel
In September, a group of students of Ural State University of Economics took a tour under the guidance of assistant professor at the Department of Commerce, Logistics and Trade Economics Svetlana Tsaregorodtseva to the hypermarket "Carousel".
During the visit, the students listened to the lecture "Innovative Trading Equipment". In the hypermarket "Carousel" for the first time in Yekaterinburg, new equipment was installed: four self-checkouts, where customers can independently do all the operations for scanning the goods, forming a check and settlement. Each participant of the excursion was offered to buy goods at the store and independently pay at a self-checkout.
As a result, students became acquainted with modern technologies of customer service at trading enterprises and acquired skills of working with new equipment.
