November 18, the Museum of History of Yekaterinburg hosted a city action «Night of Museums». The guides acquainted the guests with permanent and temporary expositions of the Museum and showed the works of finalists of the children drawings contest.
In addition, on this day the Museum project «The first board game about the city» was presented. Students of the USUE Institute of Economics Mikhail Rozhkov, Anna Dvoryashina, Anastasia Chesnokova and, Polina Tarasova became one of the first participants in the game.
The presentation of the game is timed to the historic birthday of the city: on November 18, 1723, a trial launch of forging hammers at the Catherine Ironworking Plant on Iset took place. This day is considered the birth date of the capital of the Urals.
