Strengthening relations with universities of Bulgaria
December 21, President of Varna University of Management (Bulgaria) Todor Radev visited USUE. With USUE Rector Yakov Silin, he discussed issues of further cooperation.
Todor Radev noted that VUM is much smaller than USUE in terms of the number of students. "We have a little more than a thousand people, of which about 200 exchange students. We try to be the best in the quality of education," he added and showed official European ratings that confirm the leadership of the Bulgarian university at the international level.
The President of the Bulgarian university also expressed readiness to strengthen cooperation with USUE. Yakov Silin supported the initiative and noted that the economic university has long-standing contacts with educational institutions of Bulgaria, especially in the field of food technologies, service, and hospitality.
In 2015, USUE and VUM signed an inter-university agreement for the period 2015-2020 on the mobility of students and faculty staff under the Erasmus + program. USUE students annually participate in this program.
