Ural in the fate of the Romanovs

July 17, 2017 Ural State University of Economics hosted the regional scientific and practical conference dedicated to the preparation for the 100th anniversary of the royal family execution "Ural in the Fate of the Romanovs."

October 25, 2017, there will be the All-Russian scientific and practical conference "Ural in the Fate of the Romanovs." Scientists, local history experts, historians, jurists and other participants will deliver reports at the event and will also visit the Monastery of the Holy Imperial Passion-Bearers in the area of Ganina Yama.

USUE conducts a number of events devoted to the topic "Ural in the Fate of the Romanovs". The University won in the competitive selection of programs for the development of student associations’ activities, which was held by the Russian student’s center “Rosstudenchestvo” under the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation.

2017 is the year of the 100th anniversary of the two Russian revolutions and the eve of one of the most notorious social and political events of the Civil War period: the shooting of the last Russian Emperor Nicholas II and his family.
