USUE promotes international relations
The rectors of Ural State University of Economics and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed an agreement on cooperation between the universities in the field of education and research. The signing ceremony took place online through the Zoom platform.
On the part of USUE, the event was also attended by Vice-Rector for Social Work, Roman Krasnov, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Teaching Methods and Quality of Training, Dmitry Karkh, Vice-Rector for Research, Elena Dvoryadkina, and Vice-Rector for Further Education and Career Guidance, Elena Knyazeva.
The cooperation agreement implies the joint development and implementation of educational programs, participation of USUE and UWED researchers and teachers in research-to-practice conferences and forums, and student exchange. The immediate plans of the two parties include online presentations of USUE researchers at UWED on the economic consequences of the pandemic in Russia, as well as sharing the teaching experience of students' distance learning.
